In the United States, I have partnered with the
American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA).
ABTA exists to eliminate brain tumors through research and to
meet the needs of brain tumor patients and their families. They
are well-respected and highly regarded in the brain tumor community
as the premier resource for information and support services for
brain tumor patients and their families. Their research funding
over the past three decades has helped to bring a wealth of knowledge
about brain tumors to the forefront. Last year, ABTA awarded $1.5
million for brain tumor research across the United States and
Canada.
The Ironman World Championship took place on October 15, 2005
in Kona, Hawaii. I have partnered with the American Brain Tumor
Association for my 2006 charity projects to fund their brain tumor
research and patient services programs. If you would like to make

Matching Gifts
Many employers will match charitable contributions
made by their employees. Check to see if your employer has a matching
gift program. Companies differ in their policies, but if the
American Brain Tumor Association meets their qualifications,
it means more funding for their programs with your donation.
